About Our Company

Virden Enterprises was started in 2001 as a general contractor specializing in residential remodeling. The principals at the time were Chris and Joe Virden, and unfortunately, Chris has since passed away. Joe has continued the mission of delivering a high-quality product on schedule and on budget.

We employ a team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to pleasing our clients and putting in the necessary effort to achieve 100% satisfaction. Most of our team of subcontractors have been with us for over ten years. Attention to detail is the mantra you will hear on all our jobsites. We also outsource to architects and engineers when their services are required.

The key to our success has been our unique ability to communicate with the client, understand the client's vision and set the processes and resources in motion to achieve that goal. We are in constant communication with our clients advising them of schedule, value engineering, potential issues and options. Our devotion to honesty and integrity are critical in developing a bond of trust with our clients. It's not just the client's project; it's our project. The goal is to not just meet expectations, but to exceed them.

Joe Virden

Joe is a fourth-generation builder who learned the business early in life. He built his first home during the summer while on break from college. Needless to say, he had a lot of help from his father. But he learned an important life lesson: if you surround yourself with honest and highly capable people, you will build a great reputation and experience success. His career was built by establishing professional contacts, hard word and developing resources to adapt in a constantly evolving construction industry. His favorite saying is, "it it's within the laws of physics, we can build it. The real question is the cost/benefit to you."

He is licensed in most building jurisdictions in the metro area including the City and County of Denver. Almost all building jurisdictions reciprocate with Denver and if he does not hold a current license in a particular jurisdiction, it is easily obtained.
